Autumn Evans

Hello! I'm Autumn Evans. Originally from Castaic, California, I moved to Montana in 2016 to pursue my pre-veterinary medicine and wildlife management degree. Naturally, I fell in love with this incredible state and its offerings.

My fascination with taxidermy began in my high school anatomy class, where we articulated chicken skeletons on Halloween. I quickly fell down the rabbit hole, skipping my senior prom to take my first taxidermy class with Allis Markham (no regrets!).

For the past three years, I have been working for Jenny at 406 Taxidermy in Belgrade. My main passions are reptiles and small carnivores, especially mustelids, but I want to learn more. You can find me hiking with my boyfriend and dogs, painting, practicing wildlife photography, and hunting in my spare time.
